Lady Amalthea custom

I've got to something about this procrastination love affair I have.
Take a look at the date and just see how long I've been sitting this one.

So here we have a custom I completed way back when in the spring days of my youth.
I was bored one day so I figured I jump on the "Last unicorn custom" bandwagon. It's a popular subject with the MLP customizers. So hey why not!
Several weeks later we have the Lady Amalthea.
And peep the leg. My Husband was nice enough to sacrifice his weekend to drive me one state over and get her signed by the author.


Specs!

Dress, hair and tail sculpted over a Hasbro My little pony toy.
Painted up all gangsta style with a random collection of random craft grade acrylics. Random.

The display base was a simple unfinished wood plaque. Stained it. Sealed via polyurethane. Probably a solid month of applying layer after layer and drying time.
Fabric accent came from and old pillow. Grandma will never notice.
Slapped an engraved name plaque on it and done!
